Nestling in the centre of Ambleside, your accommodation, set over two floors of a traditional Lakeland cottage, was once the home of a famous local hat maker, and is the perfect base from which to explore the area; walk in the fells, relax by the lake, explore the many local mountain biking and cycle routes, wander lonely as a cloud, catch a fish, write a poem, jump in a tarn, enjoy a pint, run up a fell or paint a picture, it’s all on the doorstep. A stay at Milliners Cottage will re-charge your batteries and have you wanting to come back for more.
