OMM Jirishanca 35: Versatile lightweight mountaineering rucksack

This is the most versatile omm rucksack we have used: We've stripped it down to compete in the Original Mountain Marathon, we've loaded it up to ski into winter climbs in the Lakes and it is the perfect pack to take during those last minute flights to Chamonix. Modern mountain rucksacks need to be incredibly tough and lightweight. The OMM Jirishanca mixes the material components of the best mountaineering rucksacks and climbing packs with the time tested features of the OMM mountain marathon rucksacks, resulting in a really well thought out mountain rucksack.

Ristop Dyneema fabric resists tearing and scuffs from sharp rock edges and heavy climbing kit, the OMM Duomat which form the back system makes for a sleeping mat during those unexpected overnighters or just an insulating sit mat while you enjoy a cuppa from the flask. As with all OMM rucksacks, the buckle on the sternum strap features an emergency whistle, and the waist belt pockets keep energy bars, compass and camera to hand. There are multiple attachment points and compression points on the Jiri to attach skis, poles, snow shoes and ice tools so you can accomodate each of your outdoor obsessions.

The Jirishanca has a longer back length than other rucksacks in the OMM Classic range making it suitable for taller users.
