Grisports years of experience in the field of footwear manufacture make the company able to guarantee the highest standards of production in all of its articles. The utmost care is given to comfort and fit. All styles incorporate the new shock absorbing insoles, with anatomical footbed.

Waterproof and Breathable: All waterproof and breathable Grisport products are guaranteed to perform to British waterproofing standards. These styles, constructed from waterproof leathers, not only benefit from a waterproof and breathable membrane but also from taped seams.

Gritex Lining: Grisport boots with a Gritex lining e.g. Pisa, have a water repellent and breathable, semi-permeable membrane which gives upto 3 1/2 hours protection against rain and snow as well as protecting against the cold.

Cordura: a registered fabric of DuPont. Cordura is a key fabric in all high quality trekking and outdoor products. Cordura offers outstanding durability and excellent resistance to tear and punture.

Sympatex: is the lightest, most flexible, breathable waterproof membrane in the world, and is up to 100 times more protective than British Standards. It is proven not to tear at critical stress points, and prevents heat loss from wind penetration.

Support System: is a very effective heel-locking system designed for perfect control of the foot by ensuring an excellent grip on the ground in all phases of movement.

Vibram Sole Units: are known around the world as being the most durable and effective soles for outdoor use. Vibram soles are made from slip and shock-proof rubber.

"Our state of the art factory, at the foot of the Montebelluna hills in Italy has started work on making our products the greenest in the world. An €8 million investment in Solar energy will mean that by early 2008 we will be operating fully on renewable energy sources.

This huge investment guarantees that when you buy our products you are buying from an ethical European manufacturer rather than from some polluting far eastern factory. The solar panels cover an area on our factory greater than that of 7 football pitches. We will be reducing CO2 entering the atmosphere by over 1,000 tons per year - the equivalent of taking 320 cars off the road.

The saving over 20 years will be 20,000 tons of CO2 & 48 tons of fine dust & oxides. Our 1.4 megawatts of solar power generation would power 540 family homes of 4.
