Payment Security.

Head to the Hills website uses RBS WorldPay for card payments and Paypal.

Both Paypal and Worldpay are 'secure payment gateways' which means all card and bank details are handled securely by them. The secure 'padlock' icon is visible on the payment gateway page after your order placement, but before you submit payment to be taken.

The RBS WorldPay payment system, certified by Thawte, ensures the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Thawte, a public Certificate Authority, ensures that both the shopper and retailer can have complete confidence.

Transaction Encryption via SSL:Purchase details are encapsulated using WorldPay encrypted and digitally-signed protocol. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof via SSL.

Guaranteed Satisfied Customer Returns Policy.

As an independent retailer, at Head to the Hills we pride ourselves on customer service and want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied we guarantee to resolve your issues to the best of our capabilities. You can contact us direct and speak to a real (well almost) person.

When contacting us by phone or email please have your order number handy or surname and address, so we can help you more efficiently

No re-stocking fee: Unlike some mail order and internet sites we do NOT charge a re-stocking fee when customers return goods.

All returned goods must be unused and with original tickets. Any faulty product MUST be clean.

Post, Packing and Delivery

In most circumstances we use Royal Mail or Parcelforce for all UK deliveries. Deliveries may require a signature. We can deliver to your work / another address, simply enter a convenient delivery address when placing your order online.

Free Delivery: For orders over £75 UK standard delivery is FREE

Speedy dispatch: Most of our orders are dispatched the same day

When goods are in stock and we receive your order by 1pm, we always aim to dispatch your order the same day.  In any case and wherever possible we will deliver your order within 2-5 working days. If we cannot ship your order within this time scale we will e-mail you with an expected delivery date.

Post and Packing Options:

Standard Delivery (default option) - Parcels are dispatched  1st class or 2nd class /standard parcel, depending upon weight. 

Express UK (Special Delivery) - Your order will be dispatched the same day using a Special Delivery service If your order is placed before 1pm. After 1pm your order may be dispatched the same day or the following day. We always try to honour all express orders placed after 1pm as far as we can.

If for some reason, your item (s) are out of stock we will email you.

Please note:  'Express UK' ensures the USE of a Special Delivery Service, normally via Royal Mail.

P&P Charges:

Free UK standard delivery for orders £75 and over.
Standard Delivery: For orders over £75 UK standard delivery is FREE. £1.99 for most other items and £3.99 for heavier parcels.
Guaranteed Next Working Day  – £5.50.  Price is quoted at checkout before your payment is taken.

Christmas 2011 Deliveries and  Orders

We can dispatch items as usual until 1pm Tue 20th Dec using our standard service. Parcels should reach you in time for Christmas, we do recommend the Special Delivery Service, if your item is needed for Christmas.

After 1pm on Tue 20th Dec and until 1pm on Thursday 22nd Dec Select 'Express UK' if your item is required for Christmas.

We do our very best to ensure your parels arrive in time for Christmas, please remember we cannot guarantee they will.  'Express UK' ensures we will use a Royal Mail special delivery service, Sometimes due to adverse weather for example parcels may be delayed.

Christmas Returns: Items bought as Christmas presents that need to be returned should be back with us by 14th January. Thank you.

International Delivery:

International and European orders are dispatched via ' Royal Mail International Signed For'.

• Within Europe we deliver to:  Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland (Eire), Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden. The delivery charge to europe is £13.99.
• For USA and Canada the delivery charge is £22.00.

Please select your country from drop down box in the delivery address section, when completeing your order, and the delivery charge will be displayed. (If the charge is not displayed please 'contact us' so we may arrange payment via a separate link).
